Weekly Courses - After school program – Acting for TV
It is the intent of this course to show students what elements are involved in working on a video production.
To us the main elements are:
- Being prepared and
- Being comfortable
To achieve this we are introducing the students to the following:
- Professional etiquette
- Director’s cues and other things that you’d hear on a set
- Working with the camera, such as:
- Where to look
- Working with microphones
- How to act without talking
- How to talk and not seem to be acting
Within this outline we will be video taping the students and later compiling the footage to put together a final production. Everyone will receive a tape.
