Weekly Courses - After school program – Acting for TV

It is the intent of this course to show students what elements are involved in working on a video production.

To us the main elements are:

  1. Being prepared and
  2. Being comfortable

To achieve this we are introducing the students to the following:

  1. Professional etiquette
  2. Director’s cues and other things that you’d hear on a set
  3. Working with the camera, such as:
    1. Where to look
    2. Working with microphones
  4. How to act without talking
  5. How to talk and not seem to be acting

Within this outline we will be video taping the students and later compiling the footage to put together a final production.  Everyone will receive a tape.
